It is the calculation method of contact angles only by FEMTOFAB where the free surface (without distortion) is measured excluding the surfaces of liquid droplet with interface distortion and optical distortion to obtain accurate values by reversely calculating the distorted contact surface.

 1. Application of free-surface goniometry (FSG) developed for the first time
     in the world
 
  - GEM engine is applied where gravity-driven deformation of interfaces is
     accurately analyzed numerically.
  - Contact angle is measured using only free-surface domains without any distortion.
  - The most ideal measurement of contact angles completely excluding fundamental
    distortions (interface distortion, optical distortion) near the contact line.

  * With existing approximate algorithms, errors greater than 10° occurs
     in superhydrophobic domains.
  * Single algorithm measurement for the whole domain: All of accuracy, repeatability,
     convenience maximized because there is no need for selection of an algorithm.
